Description
The Baden-Württemberg Scholarship for Students is awarded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts. Its aim is to promote international exchange between highly-qualified German and foreign students.
The programme is intended for students and graduates of all disciplines enrolled at state-maintained (public) higher education institutions in Baden-Württemberg (traditional universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of education, colleges of art and music) and the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, as well as the partner universities of these institutions.
The programme funds good to excellent applicants who wish to extend their academic and intercultural skills and competency by completing a study or research stay in Baden-Württemberg.
Applications are open to students and graduates from all countries. The length and amount of funding is based on the type of the academic institution in question.
Eligibility
Applications are possible for students at international partner universities of our universities in Baden-Württemberg who wish to attend a university in Baden-Württemberg for one or two semesters as well as for students at universities in Baden-Württemberg who wish to attend a partner university abroad for one or two semesters.
Duration
Higher education institutions: The scholarship lasts at least 4 and a maximum of 11 months. Berufsakademien (vocational universities of cooperative education): The scholarship lasts at least 3 and a maximum of 6 months.
