Around 1,500 students from different countries all over the world are presently attending Kyushu University. Of this number, around 140 students belong to the Faculty of Agriculture, mostly graduate students. With the university being chosen as one of the venues for the Global 30 project, the Faculty of Agriculture is launching its newest undergraduate program? The International Undergraduate Program at the Department of Bioresource and Bioenvironment, School of Agriculture.
Eligibility
Nationality: Applicants must be nationals of a country that has diplomatic relations with the Japanese government.Age Limit: Applicants must be under 35 years old as of April 1, 2012 (i.e., born after April 2, 1977).

Final submission of the full documents is made through the assigned supervisor. All necessary documents must be sent to the supervisor.
For MEXT scholarship applicants who pass the preliminary screening, all of the documents listed below should arrive at the Student Affairs Office of the Graduate School of Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Sciences no later than February 20, 2012.For non-MEXT scholarship applicants, the same set of documents should arrive at the Student Affairs Office of the Graduate School of Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Sciences no later than March 31, 2012.
Selection Procedure for MEXT scholarship Applicants:
Kyushu University will select applicants based on their application documents and qualifications.Based on the recommendations made by Kyushu University, MEXT will then screen and authorize the admission of applicants.Applicants will be notified of the results by the middle of July 2012. Successful applicants will be enrolled as full-time graduate students.
